Features

One of the most exciting things about JavaScript as a language is that it's not standing still. From arrow functions to destructuring, many key features added over the past couple years are now an integral part of how we write JavaScript.

So starting this year, in addition to which tools you use we're also tracking how you write JavaScript: the patterns, syntax, and features you use… or maybe don't use just yet but are definitely keeping an eye on!

This chart presents the various adoption rates for all features, grouped by category.

The size of the outer circle corresponds to the total number of users who know about a feature, while the inner one represents those who have actually used it.
